Delete your Cabin Mode account

Two ways to do it, and no form to fill in for either. Deletion is permanent — there is no restore, and no grace period in which we could undo it for you.

How

In the app, or by email

The app is immediate. Email takes as long as it takes us to confirm the request is genuinely yours, and never more than 30 days.

  1. 01

    Open Account in the app

Cabin Mode, then Account. Delete account is at the bottom, under a confirmation you have to tap through deliberately.

  2. 02

    Or write to us instead

Email hello@cabinmode.app from the address on the account, so we can tell it is you asking. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use that account's address.

  3. 03

    That's it

In the app the account is gone by the time the screen closes. By email we confirm in writing once it is done.

What happens

What goes, and what stays

Deleted

  • Your account and the sign-in identity behind it — after this, the email or Apple or Google account you used no longer signs in to anything of ours.
  • Your orders and top-ups as we hold them.
  • Your eSIM records, including the usage history we kept to show you what was left.
  • Your push notification tokens, so the device stops receiving alerts.

Kept

  • Purchase and tax records, for seven years. We are required to keep these, and a receipt for a plan you bought stays in the accounting record whether or not the account still exists.
  • Support emails, for two years from the last message in the thread.
  • Nothing about your card. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers, so there is nothing of that kind for us to delete.

Not ours to remove

An eSIM profile already installed on a handset belongs to the mobile network, not to us. Deleting your account does not remove it and does not stop it: a plan with time left keeps working until it expires. To take it off the phone, delete the line in the phone's own mobile settings.

Do that before you delete your account if you can — afterwards you will have no record of which line was which.
